"Remembering the Wild Feminine"

 

Welcome to Wilderness Within, a space for remembering, reclaiming and empowering the wild feminine that lives within us all.

We are passionate about creating safe spaces for women to gather, to rewild ourselves, to know ourselves home on this beautiful Earth, as a part of nature and as a part of human community. We wish for all to feel held, heard, seen and encouraged for their unique expression of self.

​

We have a great love for Mother Earth and we believe in exploring her beauty at a slow and sustainable pace. Travelling gently, leaving no trace and offering support towards protecting sacred lands.

 

We believe in learning from indigenous wisdom, weaving this knowledge into a greater respect and honouring through the ways we live our lives and share our offerings.

We believe in the power of ceremony, of gathering together in circle, sharing in rituals and song, of connecting to the sacred, to spirit that is alive in all.

​

We believe in celebrating this precious gift of being alive.

"From the moment I landed Laura and Bec were warm, supportive and comforting. Going hiking in nature is one thing but hiking in nature with the support of kindred women who also want to deeply connect, share stories, songs and experiences is so much more! The benefit of having a tour guide & having someone else organize transfers, meals, kayak hire, day trips & schedules meant that i could spend the whole time RELAXING and enjoying every single moment, soaking up the tranquility of an ancient landscape and reconnecting with my own 'wild inner terrain'. Wilderness Within acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands we live, work and travel on. We have great respect for the connection that first nations people have to country and we pay our respects to elders past, present and future. We give special thanks to Aunty Sophia and Aunty Tanya from Barkandji and Mutthi Mutthi country who we spent time with on our women's immersion and give great thanks to them for generously sharing their country and culture with us, we are so deeply grateful.
